Sarah works within a humanistic framework, which offers clients a calm,
supportive and non-judgemental place where they are safe to explore their
emotional world and so make sense of what happens there.

The Practitioner
 
Sarah joined Croft House in 2002 after completing her Diploma in Counselling
at Darlington college. In 2006, she gained an MA degree in Counselling from
York St John University. She is a member of the British Association of Counselling
and Psychotherapy, and is bound by its ethical framework.
 
As part of her continued professional development, she has undertaken additional training                                                                                                                                                      to support people who are struggling with bereavement, relationship difficulties and health                                                                                                                                            concerns, including stress, anxiety and depression.
She has also returned to York St John as a lecturer on the under-graduate programme.
Sarah has extensive experience of working with clients in a variety of settings, offering both short and long term work.
She works with adults, children and couples.

Sarah is available for appointments at Croft House on Fridays from 9am-6pm
