What is acupuncture?
Acupuncture is a system of medicine which has been practcised in China for thousands of years.
Its chinese phiolosophy is based on the idea that health is dependant on the flow of energy, Qi moving around the body. By inserting fine needles into the channels that carry Qi, the body's healing response can be stimulated.

Acupuncture can be helpful in treating patients with a wide variety of conditions such as backache,
migraine, stress, and anxiety.  It is also helpful for a range of gynaecological and obstetric problems including working in
partnership to improve IVF outcomes.

Acupressure massage, cupping and moxibustion may also be used during treatment
and offered as an alternative to needles.
